Arsenal and Manchester City are both keeping tabs on RB Leipzig’s teenage winger Yan Diomande, with the pair reportedly prepared to go beyond the nine-figure mark to land him this summer, according to BILD via Sport Witness.
The interest from the two Premier League heavyweights is understood to have piled pressure on PSG, who are said to be stepping up their own discussions with Leipzig as they look to get a deal over the line before their rivals in England force the issue.
Why Diomande is turning heads
Diomande has quickly become one of the most talked-about young attackers in Europe since his move to Leipzig from CD Leganes last summer, a switch that followed a short six-month spell in Spain and appears to have fast-tracked his progress.
The 19-year-old Ivory Coast international was among Leipzig’s top performers last season, racking up 13 goals and 10 assists in 36 games across all competitions – a goal contribution roughly every 118 minutes, a serious return for a player still in his teens.

Man City’s interest ties in with question marks over Savinho’s future at the Etihad, with the Brazilian tipped to head to Tottenham after a stop-start season under Pep Guardiola. Even with Jeremy Doku and Antoine Semenyo already at Enzo Maresca’s disposal, City are said to be in the market for further reinforcement out wide.
Arsenal, meanwhile, have long been credited with an interest in Diomande.
