Liverpool have reportedly reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola over personal terms ahead of a potential move to Anfield this summer.
The Reds have been looking to strengthen their attacking options, with the addition of another winger understood to be high on their list of priorities. Liverpool have already secured the signing of Victor Munoz but are believed to be keen to add further quality to their forward line.
The club are also preparing for life without Mohamed Salah, who has departed on a free transfer, leaving a significant gap in terms of goals, creativity and attacking output.
According to reports from Anfield Sector, Liverpool have now reached an agreement with Barcola, with negotiations between the two clubs expected to be the next step in any potential deal.
However, a transfer fee is yet to be agreed between Liverpool and PSG. The French champions are not expected to let the highly-rated winger leave cheaply, despite the depth of attacking options available to them.
Barcola has reportedly struggled to establish himself as an undisputed starter at PSG, and the prospect of a move to Liverpool could appeal to the France international as he looks for a more prominent role.
Should the deal go through, Barcola would be expected to compete for a starting position at Liverpool, particularly on the right side of the attack.
Liverpool are believed to view the 23-year-old as an ideal option to strengthen their wide areas and provide additional pace, creativity and goals in the final third.
However, the financial side of the deal could prove to be a major stumbling block. GIVEMESPORT sources claim PSG value Barcola at around €170 million, although Liverpool could look to negotiate a lower fee.
With the player reportedly open to a move to Anfield, Liverpool now face the task of reaching an agreement with PSG if they are to complete what would be a major signing for the club.
